Okay if you didn't notice, I had a little poll box at the side of my blog asking what post you wanted me to do next and "What to wear on a first date" had the most votes.
Now I don't think there is an official rule for a outfit to wear, obviously there are the basic rules as not wearing anything too revealing or too boring but I really think it is just being yourself and having fun!
This is an outfit I would wear on a first date, you know I can't leave the house without heels and it's not exactly practical but come on girls...when is fashion ever practical?! I would layer a few beaded necklaces over the blouse, to give it some texture and I would make sure my bag is full of mints and a mirror for some sneaky check ups through the night. The blazer makes this outfit more sophisticated and you could also wear this outfit on a night out as well.
The reason why you can get away with leather shorts is because your top half is completely covered. You have to remember the rule to show either leg or chest. Not both! Anyway, I hope you like this outfit...I ♥ it!!
